The story of the Aqua Allegoria fragrances began in 1999. Their purpose at the time was to interpret nature in a luminous and sparkling way. Guerlain thus set out to create as many fragrances as there are different gardens on the planet. That is why this collection keeps growing year after year, gradually traveling through numerous countries, from India to Italy, by way of California, Réunion and China. Guerlain sends its perfumers to the four corners of the globe and ensures they select the finest raw materials and the most emblematic ingredients of each land they visit. This time, Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea is much more than a garden. It is a plant-filled place paying tribute to femininity, even endowing it with a touch of mystery and the divine. The plant-like flavor of Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea

Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea is a fragrance created by the house of Guerlain's in-house perfumer, the talented Thierry Wasser. He drew inspiration from mock orange blossom, also known as the poets' jasmine. Here, it reveals its radiant and bewitching charms. This plant is also accompanied by the Mediterranean luminosity of orange blossom, which brings more warmth to the whole, similar to that revealed in the first rays of spring sunshine. Then a green, fruity freshness appears, dominated by the scent of freshly cut grass. Bergamot and lemon further heighten this invigorating effect. The whole is a concentrate of tangy cheerfulness. Aqua Allegoria Flora Nymphea then closes on a woody note wrapped in a rich, golden-toned honey. The whole is presented in a sublime case, heavily inspired by Guerlain's iconic 1853 Bee Bottle. It plays with light through its finely chiseled golden dome, as if to better reveal the soft beige color of its juice.
