Bright Crystal was launched by Versace in 2006 and composed by Alberto Morillas. The house says it was inspired by its high jewelry and by Donatella Versace’s favorite flowers: pomegranate and icy yuzu open onto peony, magnolia and lotus, before a base of musk, vegetal amber and mahogany.

Versace launched Bright Crystal in 2006 as a luminous counterpart to Crystal Noir. The house explains that its pink bottle announces a softer and more luminous fragrance than Crystal Noir, and says it was inspired by its high jewelry.

The fragrance was composed by Alberto Morillas. Morillas also signed Bright Crystal Absolu in 2013, a more intense variation in eau de parfum, launched in Italy that fall and in the United States in early 2014.

Donatella Versace’s wish

According to Osmoz, Donatella Versace wanted a philter of pure sensuality, pure transparency and pure luminosity. The house adds that the fragrance was born from a blend of her favorite flowers, peony, magnolia and lotus.

Versace intends it for a woman who is strong and sure of her charm, sensual, feminine and always glamorous, and presents it as a classic of its women’s perfumery, with floral and fruity, almost crystalline accents.
