Hot Couture is a Givenchy perfume launched in 2000, composed by Alberto Morillas and Jacques Cavallier, whose name plays on haute couture. The eau de toilette, which the house classes among the floral fruity fragrances, opens on a raspberry accord, blooms on a magnolia accord and rests on Damask rose essence from Bulgaria and Turkey.
Designed by Serge Mansau in 2000, the bottle gave way in 2022 to curved glass, in the Les Mythiques collection; eau de toilette in 100 ml.
The original bottle is by Serge Mansau, who designed for Hot Couture the eau de parfum bottles, in 50 and 100 ml, and the eau de toilette bottle. An older version bore an image in the manner of a period fashion sketch.
Jessica, of Now Smell This, described in 2011 a bottle whose logo evokes a dressmaker’s label with pinked edges. In 2022, Givenchy replaced it with a curved-glass bottle, which the house calls faithful to the purity dear to Hubert de Givenchy.
The current eau de toilette bottle holds 100 ml. On its website, the house offers engraving, a service it provides on a wide selection of its perfumes, in the spirit of couture made to measure.
