Louis Vuitton has a history that seems forever linked to travel. In fact, it was by crafting a travel trunk that the house first became known. Thus, to create its new collection, the house did not hesitate to send its perfumer to the four corners of the world. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud was then tasked with bringing back the finest raw materials. However, if you travel even a little, you are well aware that turbulence is commonplace when flying... This must therefore have inspired the creator in building his fragrance. Yes, but not only that... Turbulences also refers to love at first sight. After all, it must be acknowledged that these two situations share many similarities. Both allow one to fly above the clouds. They sometimes make the heart race, giving the impression of being on a roller coaster. They sometimes stir fear but also questioning, ultimately carrying us beyond borders. Turbulences is an intense fragrance that makes the person wearing it particularly sensual and attractive, capable of sparking a true coup de foudre with a single breath!

Turbulences, a very floral journey

Turbulences bears a name close to that of its main raw material: tuberose. It is a herbaceous plant native to Mexico, later introduced to Europe and Asia as early as the 16th century. Once particularly abundant in the Grasse region, the world capital of perfumery and also the native region of Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, it is unfortunately no longer grown there today. The tuberose contained in Turbulences comes from India. Here it lends a very heady note, rather green at first and then evolving toward a milkier, sun-kissed roundness. Some say it evokes the scent of coconut. Thus, its exoticism carries us to a distant elsewhere. Tuberose is also considered by many to be the most narcotic of flowers. Here, it accompanies jasmine for a most refined result. A touch of leather also completes this ensemble, making it particularly animalic. However, although the whole is quite bold and daring, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud has once again shown great olfactory mastery. This fragrance is perfectly balanced. Turbulences is in no way an overdosed medicinal caricature. It is simply an exquisite fragrance, floral and exotic.
