Flower by Kenzo Eau de Toilette

Flower by Kenzo Eau de Toilette is the Eau de Toilette that Kenzo launched in 2021 for its Flower line, following an earlier Eau de Toilette. Signed by Alberto Morillas, perfumer of the 2000 Flower, this musky floral pairs Sicilian lemon with a Bulgarian rosewater, all set on white musks and vanilla.

Where to buy

In 2021, Kenzo gave a new Eau de Toilette to Flower by Kenzo, the line launched in 2000 around the poppy, an odorless flower to which the house wanted to lend a fragrance. Its formula departs markedly from the original Flower.

Alberto Morillas, who had composed the 2000 Flower, signs its formula. The house ranks it among musky florals; the perfumer says he sought a softened rose, almost translucent, like a flower still in bud.

Sicilian lemon in the opening

The bottle retains the tall, curved glass stem characteristic of the line, reaching toward the sky. On this Eau de Toilette, the poppy that adorns it leaves its red behind for pastel tones, as if lit by the sun.

Olfastory’s review

The new Eau de Toilette has drawn few signed reviews, both favorable. Trudi Brewer, writer for the New Zealand online magazine BeautyEQ, sees it as the perfect musky floral; Darcey Bayliss, writer at the British online perfumer Escentual, likes its discretion and finds its longevity greater than she expected.
