Chance Eau Vive
Chance Eau Vive, a whirlwind of fragrant happiness. Chanel is a French house specializing in luxury goods, haute couture and perfume. Its history is that of Gabrielle Chanel, born in 1883 in Saumur. Nicknamed Coco Chanel, Gabrielle Chanel brought a breath of modernity to the ideas and attire of her time.

Where to buy
Its first perfume, Chanel N°5, in 1921, marked the beginning of a long success story. After Chance in 2003, Chance Eau Fraiche in 2007 and Chance Eau Tendre in 2010, Chanel presents a new variation of its lucky charm fragrance, Chance Eau Vive.
Chance Eau Vive, all about cheerfulness!
Elegance and simplicity have always reflected the style of the house of Chanel. It is in this spirit that the perfumes of the Chance collection were imagined. Chance Eau Vive is an original creation by perfumer Olivier Polge. He is none other than the son of Jacques Polge, former Chanel perfumer, who is behind many successes such as Coco, Egoïste, Coco Mademoiselle, and others. The zesty floral fragrance of Chance Eau Vive immediately carries the wearer into a whirlwind of cheerfulness. Chance Eau Vive opens on invigorating notes of grapefruit and blood orange. Its heart, laden with jasmine, then reveals all its femininity. The base is woody, blending the beauty of iris with the strength of cedar. Vetiver and white musk arrive at the end, wrapping the composition in a soft warmth.
Chance Eau Vive and the Chance collection
A small nod to Gabrielle Chanel, who used to say a chance came along and she took it. For her, chance was a state of mind, a way of being. For the first perfume of the Chance collection in 2003, Jacques Polge wanted a very feminine composition, but above all an unexpected one. It would therefore be an unsuspected perfume, like a chance seized only once in a lifetime. Chance would be, by turns, spicy, floral, sensual and gourmand. In 2007, Chance Eau Fraiche is brimming with freshness and a shower of happiness. In 2010, Chance Eau Tendre is delicate and delightful, an entirely new olfactory thrill. The shape of all these bottles was imagined by Jacques Helleu, the artistic director of the house of Chanel. The perfectly round bottle is encircled with a silver band. Once again, the Chance girls will be delighted to discover a new facet of their favorite Eau de Toilette, a way of changing without changing.
The house of Chanel needs no introduction, a symbol of beauty and elegance since the very first creations of Gabrielle Chanel. She entered the world of perfumery in 1921, with the legendary Chanel N°5. Launched in 2003 with a first perfume, the Chance collection continues to innovate and surprise. On the olfactory program of Chance Eau Vive, a sparkling floral-citrus blend, more joyful than ever. A new chance to seize.

The advertising
In 2003, Jacques Polge, official perfumer of the house of Chanel, decided to break away from the classic codes of Chanel perfumery by introducing Chance, a fruity and floral, sparkling eau. Chanel is a fragrance of pure happiness, created as a tribute to Gabrielle Chanel, who used to say a chance came along and she took it. Chance is regarded as a new way of approaching life, of seeing things, of being happy. A true ode to joie de vivre, Chance is an unpredictable fragrance, always in motion.
Chance Eau Vive, a joyful, ever-moving clip
The first Chance clip showed the round perfume bottle having fun performing gymnastics routines alongside its little sisters, namely Chance Eau Fraiche, in green, and Chance Eau Tendre, in pink. The clip, already full of movement, was renewed ten years later. Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters, Jean-Paul Goude directed the advertisement titled Take your Chance. Here, the viewer watches a rather unusual game of bowling. Indeed, the pins and balls are replaced by the round, colorful Chance perfume bottles. In the middle of the bowling alley, the face of the campaign, Anne Vyalitsyna, grabs the Chance Eau Vive bottle and throws it down the lane, under the eyes of the other young women, scoring a strike! The challenge is thus triumphantly met and the young woman is finally accepted by the other top models, Rianne Van Rompaey, Sigrid Agren, Cindy Bruna, and Romy Schonberger. In the background music, an original song specially recorded for the Chance Eau Vive commercial can be heard, credited to Éric Spring, Alexandre Pellet and Julien Vichnievsky. Behind it, the chorus sings take a chance on me, take a chance on love.
Anne Vyalitsyna, the new face of the Chance campaign
The woman nicknamed Anne V. was born in 1986 in Russia. Her father is a doctor and her mother a pediatrician. Anne V. was discovered at age 15 by the IMG Models agency in St Petersburg, through a competition. In Jean-Paul Goude's clip, who also directed the one for Coco with Vanessa Paradis, Anne V. radiates happiness. For the occasion, she wears a very short Chanel dress with yellow ruffles, along with black and white ballet flats and red lipstick, of course by Chanel. Among the other young women, another one draws all the attention: the young French model Sigrid Agren. Born in Martinique, the stunning blonde has already represented Prada, Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein and Chloé.
A magnificent fragrance symbolizing joie de vivre, Chance Eau Vive is portrayed in a bright, cheerful clip featuring a rather unusual game of bowling. Anne V., the face of Chance, also brings her touch of happiness to this ultra-sparkling clip directed by Jean-Paul Goude.
