Chance Eau Vive

Chance Eau Vive, a whirlwind of fragrant happiness. Chanel is a French house specializing in luxury goods, haute couture and perfume. Its history is that of Gabrielle Chanel, born in 1883 in Saumur. Nicknamed Coco Chanel, Gabrielle Chanel brought a breath of modernity to the ideas and attire of her time.

A round bottle, common to the Chance collection, redesigned in early 2015 and offered in 35, 50 and 100 ml of Eau de Toilette.

Eau Vive repeats the bottle shape of the collection's previous editions, with round lines, and comes in 50 and 100 ml of Eau de Toilette. Promotional text from the house, echoed by a retailer, sums up the object in these circular lines.

The Chance collection was given a new bottle shape in early 2015, along with a 35 ml size, a size that the Auparfum review cites at the time of the launch.

The lineage of the bottle is documented at the collection level rather than for this specific edition: encyclopedic sources and a review blog note that Chance bottles are circular and come in various colors, setting them apart from the square bottles of the house's other perfumes, and that the round Chance bottle of 2003 was imagined by Jacques Helleu, designed as the inverse symmetrical counterpart to the square of N°5.
