Where to buy
Thus, certain great perfumes see collector's editions of their original fragrances appear one after another. Now, in this spring of 2017, it is the turn of 1 Million by Paco Rabanne to make headlines. It would seem that the house's emblematic ingot has decided to meet one of the most famous games on the planet. Focus on the new 1 Million Monopoly.
The new design of 1 Million Monopoly
1 Million Monopoly is a bold perfume, especially in terms of its bottle. Moreover, while it retains the silhouette of its predecessor as well as many of its attributes, it adds a few details referencing the very famous Monopoly game. 1 Million Monopoly is thus presented in a thick rectangle of glass whose silhouette evokes a gold ingot. Indeed, the entire 1 Million collection draws inspiration from man's fascination with this highly coveted material. This block of brown glass is then covered with a gold metal framework giving it an incomparable shine. Far more than a simple bottle, the case of 1 Million Monopoly is a true design object. Its name is placed on the front face in a typography evocative of the world of the Far West. The real novelty, however, lies rather in the two dice drawn in relief just beneath its name. These clearly reference the world of Monopoly and are, moreover, present in greater numbers on the cardboard box of this new perfume. The whole is an invitation to play. So, for those with a naturally daring streak, this perfume might well be made for them.
Paco Rabanne's unchanged recipe
While the new visual of 1 Million Monopoly is particularly seductive and unexpected, its composition, on the other hand, remains unchanged. Thus, fans of this fragrance will not be lost and can only be won over by this collector's edition. 1 Million Monopoly revisits the oriental and fruity character of its predecessor. Its opening begins joyfully with bright citrus notes. Thus, 1 Million Monopoly combines grapefruit, blood mandarin and mint. Its heart, meanwhile, dares the contrast of noble flowers and spices, containing rose and neroli paired with cinnamon. Finally, for more virility and sensuality, 1 Million Monopoly closes with a trio of leather, amber and Indonesian patchouli. This composition is the work of three great perfumers. Moreover, 1 Million, and consequently the new 1 Million Monopoly, were created by Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard.
