Far more than a simple writing instrument, it has become a legend. As if to pay tribute to it, Montblanc thus designed, in 2011, a fragrance bringing together all the aesthetic codes of its iconic pen. It is named Legend and presents itself as the fragrance of a man who is virile, elegant and determined. Following on from this fragrance, Montblanc decided to develop a more seductive version named Legend Night.

First, let us begin by observing the visual of this new fragrance. Indeed, it is in perfect harmony with the fragrance it contains. Legend Night comes in a bottle whose shape is identical to that of its predecessor. It is a kind of resolutely masculine flask, with timeless curves but a sturdiness that instantly conveys a feeling of virility. However, the color scheme of this new fragrance has been transformed. Previously, it was presented in opaque black glass topped with a silver band. The whole unmistakably evoked the pen of the house of Montblanc. Now, Legend Night begins with a warm, coppery color at its base before evolving toward an opaque black top. The whole conveys a feeling of comfort, masculinity and sensuality. And it is precisely this feeling that emanates from the formula of this new fragrance.
The highly nuanced fragrance of Legend Night
To create Legend Night, Montblanc chose to call on a duo of perfumers made up of Olivier Pescheux and Antoine Maisondieu. In reality, this choice is not really a surprise given that Olivier Pescheux is already the nose behind the very first Legend. Both chose to depict the image of a confident yet highly nuanced masculinity. Legend Night is a fragrance intended for a self-assured, seductive and comforting man. Quick-witted, Legend Night reveals all the spirit of the Montblanc man from the very start of its sillage. This fragrance opens with aromatic notes of clary sage combined with the freshness of peppermint, cardamom and bergamot. The dynamism of this fragrance is absolutely intense but is quickly taken over by a warmer, more elegant heart. Legend Night is a juice made of numerous nuances, letting a scent of lavender combined with cedarwood and violet drift through. Its carnal aspect, meanwhile, only appears in the base. It comes through in a trio of patchouli, musk and vanilla.
