Azzaro turned it into an exceptional perfume in 2011. The house seemed intent on asserting its rock 'n' roll side, signing at the same time a bottle that was original to say the least!

Azzaro's musical homage

With the creation of the perfume Decibel, Azzaro's message could not have been clearer: this was about paying homage to music. However, Azzaro did not seem to be addressing just any musical genre. Here, it is rather a matter of rock! Indeed, beyond its purely musical aspect, rock embodies a way of being, a philosophy and a code of conduct. Decibel is a fragrance in the image of all that. It seems entirely freed from the dictates of society, proudly defying prohibitions to follow only its instinct. Decibel speaks to bold and rebellious rockers. This perfume is conceived with power, becoming almost a sign of rebellion. It is precisely this nonconformity that gives it such power of attraction. Decibel is a striking perfume possessing that certain something different. It is at once as elegant as a dandy and as rebellious as a rocker. Since 2011, it has encouraged the men who wear it to reveal their charismatic and feverish insolence. It suggests that they dive into the deep end and let themselves be carried by the electrified crowd. Decibel almost plunges us into the heart of a stadium warmed by the atmosphere of a concert.

Decibel's woody, masculine character

At the same time, rockers are men who are not afraid to embrace their virility. It is precisely on this aspect that the perfume Decibel rests. It was born from the hands of perfumer Christophe Raynaud. Decibel reveals itself from the outset in its most electrifying form. It releases aldehydes paired with Italian green mandarin. This makes for a particularly stimulating fragrance. Then, the whole becomes more elegant and powdery at its heart. It also contains violet. Licorice, for its part, brings a more gourmand, addictive facet to the whole. The composition is then darkened by a bewitching incense. Finally, Decibel closes with greater sensuality and masculinity. Haitian vetiver reveals here its dark, sensual charm. Tonka bean helps envelop the whole in a creamy texture. Vanilla then in turn enriches this perfume with its suave, syrupy warmth. However, the boundless imagination of the house of Azzaro did not stop there. Decibel comes in a highly original bottle. It takes the shape of a microphone. The design of this case nevertheless remains fairly minimal. Its cylindrical base is crafted in black glass while its cap forms a sort of perforated metal sphere like the head of a microphone. A silver-toned band then joins these two parts while bearing on its back the initials dB, for Decibel.
