L’Interdit Édition Couture is the 2019 limited edition of L’Interdit, the Eau de Parfum by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal. Givenchy keeps the 2018 juice, a bouquet of orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose set against vetiver and patchouli, and presents it in a collector bottle dressed in lace, as a tribute to its couture creations.
The edition holds the 2018 Eau de Parfum, unaltered. Givenchy describes the union of a white flower and a dark accord: orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose intertwine with the more mysterious notes of vetiver and patchouli.
Bergamot and pear open the bouquet, while ambroxan and vanilla soften the base. The house speaks of a generous, intense brightness that is not afraid of subversion, and of a first resolutely underground flower.
