After the success of “Loverdose” in 2011, Diesel launched, that same year, in 2013, two new versions, “Loverdose Red Kiss” and “Loverdose Tattoo”. This new dose of love offered by “Loverdose Tattoo” is meant to be more floral. Still centered on love, “Loverdose Tattoo” is a lustful, captivating composition, an especially carnal essence, thanks to the tattoo it leaves on skin.

With the Loverdose range, Diesel wanted to express love, sensuality, women in their entirety. Without a doubt, this range is one of the most passionate and sexy. All the Loverdose fragrances were designed to leave a lasting impression, just like the brand's ready-to-wear creations. With “Loverdose Tattoo”, women loudly proclaim their independence, confidence and charisma. Diesel chose its iconic multifaceted heart-shaped bottle, as with all the others in this range. While it appears cut like a diamond, the heart of “Loverdose Tattoo” is black, as if to recall the India ink once used for tattooing on skin. The typeface, too, was designed to look like a tattoo. The tattoo then gives the woman who wears it an additional carnal dimension. “Loverdose Tattoo” is meant to be the olfactory transcription of a tattoo done in India ink, directly on the skin of a beautiful, sensual woman.

It was the highly talented Anne Flipo, together with Pascal Gaurin, who took on the demanding task of creating a fragrance that is thoroughly sensual and carnal. Oriental notes are very present in “Loverdose Tattoo”, heightening feminine sensuality. “Loverdose Tattoo” opens on a burst of dynamic, refreshing notes such as bergamot and mandarin. Blackcurrant then brings its sweet and tart facets. The heart is thoroughly romantic thanks to the presence of rose. The latter pairs with the softness and brightness of orange blossom. Jasmine also adds its own suave, sensual touch. The base of “Loverdose Tattoo” becomes even more sensual and warm with tonka bean and vanilla. “Loverdose Tattoo” leaves an indelible tattoo on women's skin, to the great delight of men.
