La vie est belle is a perfume that was born in 2012. Success quickly followed for this fragrance of happiness. A year later, the house presented La vie est belle, l'Eau de toilette légère. A year after that, Lancôme unveiled La vie est belle, l'Absolu. Then, in 2016, the house offered a new variation with La vie est belle, l'Eau de toilette Florale.

From its release in 2013, La vie est Belle ranked at the top of women's fragrance sales. Lancôme decided to continue its saga and pursue its philosophy of life by proclaiming loud and clear that life is beautiful! The new variation is meant to be more floral, certainly, but also more feminine. This new composition remains a concentrate of guaranteed happiness, embodied by the radiant smile of the beautiful Julia Roberts. La vie est Belle, l'Eau de toilette Florale is exactly the sixth flanker of the original. Each of its flankers highlights one facet of its predecessor to bring it forward. With La vie est Belle, l'Eau de toilette Florale, it is a magnificent bouquet of flowers that the fragrance celebrates.

Master perfumers Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion placed osmanthus absolute, a plant native to Asia, at the center of the composition. Osmanthus carries sweet notes of apricot and velvet, with a slightly leathery touch. La vie est Belle, l'Eau de toilette Florale opens with the pairing of rose and osmanthus. The heart continues in its ultra-floral sillage with a bouquet of violet leaves accompanied by mimosa, jasmine, freesia, and fruity notes. The base is an amber woody musky accord, which lends the whole a soft sensuality. It is composed of vanilla, patchouli, iris, white musks and amber woods. As for the bottle, it takes up the main codes of its predecessors, but is designed to be much more slender, with a white flower stitched onto the neck. The heavy transparent block, still present, represents the crystal smile. The bottle was actually designed in 1949. Through this bottle, the ambition of Armand Petitjean and Georges Delhomme was to bring out feminine aura and create a little something extra, a touch of soul. The base of the bottle was thus designed like a wide smile, that of a more beautiful life…
