Where to buy
Thus, at the turn of the new millennium, he decided to complete their wardrobe with a captivating perfume: J’Adore. Since then, this fragrance for women has never stopped making people talk, even becoming for a long time the best-selling feminine scent on the planet. Riding on this success once more in 2020, Dior decided to reinvent it and gave birth to J’Adore Infinissime. Focus on this generous floral bouquet, symbol of a free woman.
Dior’s luxurious amphora
Let us begin by observing this perfume from a purely visual standpoint. J’Adore Infinissime does not hide its belonging to the great Dior family and has a bottle very close to that of its predecessors. As a reminder, it is a precious amphora, containing a golden liquid, with a long neck encircled by countless rings. In reality, this jewel fixed to its neck recalls Maasai necklaces, as if to give this perfume a more universal reach. Here, in the J’Adore Infinissime version, the rings gradually come apart and seem to slide along the glass, in an infinite movement. From then on, this jewel becomes the symbol of a freer woman. Highly precious, the J’Adore Infinissime bottle has a figure-eight shape, echoing the generous curve of the feminine body, while undeniably drawing inspiration from the New Look style introduced by Christian Dior in 1947. Thus, from fashion to perfumery, there is only a single step...
J’Adore Infinissime, a generous bouquet of flowers
On the scent side, J’Adore Infinissime also reclaims a few elements from its predecessor, while daring to add a few extra ingredients to surprise. J’Adore Infinissime is conceived as a flight of free flowers, exhaling their scent infinitely. Created by François Demachy, Dior’s official perfumer, J’Adore Infinissime takes on an extreme sensuality. It opens with lively top notes of bergamot, blood orange and pink pepper. Then, its heart is built like a huge bouquet of rose, sambac jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley and tuberose. Finally, the base rests on a creamy sandalwood foundation, both mesmerizing and woody.
J’Adore Infinissime has an unprecedented charm, confides François Demachy, voluptuous thanks to the tuberose from the Grasse region. By introducing it into the composition of J’Adore, he orchestrated an encounter: as if J’Adore seduced the unsettling tuberose, made it its own, reinvented it, gave it light. Thus, this flower immediately signs a powerful and assertive femininity. More than ever, tuberose upends the fleshy roundness that J’Adore once had. Thanks to it, its tenacity becomes unsettling, while sandalwood also brings a new woody facet to this composition. In this fragrance, the flowers break free and leave an indelible memory.

The advertising
Some perfumes reinvent themselves year after year and never stop making people talk. Such is the case of J’Adore by Dior. Initially created in 1999, to mark the transition of the house of Dior into the new millennium, it has literally become a legend of women's perfumery. Thus, since its creation, it has been revisited many times and has given rise to countless variations of its scent. In 2020, it writes yet another new chapter of its story and reveals J’Adore Infinissime. Like all previous Dior editions, this fragrance comes with an advertisement. So, how about discovering it and letting yourself be captivated by the natural beauty of the lovely Charlize Theron?
Charlize Theron and Dior, a long love story
Charlize Theron has now been lending her image to the house of Dior for 16 years. The perfect embodiment of the J’Adore woman, she never stops captivating with her penetrating gaze, her dream figure and her confident walk. This time, in the advertising campaign for J’Adore Infinissime, the lovely South African transports viewers into a luxurious hammam. Moreover, the choice of this setting was not made at random. It recalls one of the earliest advertisements for the J’Adore fragrance, which once featured the model Carmen Kass. Here, everything begins with the vision of Charlize Theron, dressed in a long golden gown, on a podium. She is surrounded by other women. Descending from her platform, she strides purposefully toward a door. Charlize Theron shines through her flawless posture and gait. The scene plays out to the track “Flashing Lights” by Kanye West. Other phrases also resonate to accompany this visual: “Chin up”, “Infinitely Woman”... Undeniably, J’Adore Infinissime is the perfume of a charismatic and highly elegant woman! So, who else but Charlize Theron to embody this image? This collaboration felt like an obvious choice!
An already-seen campaign, signed Romain Gravas
It should be noted that this advertising campaign was not specifically created for the release of J’Adore Infinissime. Indeed, the footage is taken from an earlier advertisement created in 2018. This television clip was conceived by Romain Gravas, son of Costa Gravas, and known for his feature film “Le monde est à toi”, screened at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Accustomed to working with the biggest perfume houses, Romain Gravas had previously already created advertisements for Yves Saint Laurent’s Belle d’Opium perfume or Dior Homme, with Robert Pattinson and Camille Rowe. Once again, he treats viewers to his full expertise and takes them with him into his particularly luxurious world.
As a reminder, J’Adore Infinissime is a more intense and voluptuous version of the previous J’Adore. Like a generous floral bouquet, it blends rose with jasmine, ylang-ylang and tuberose, all while enveloping them in the generous woody accents of sandalwood. The result is a floral explosion as powerful as it is sensual.
