J’adore by Dior: the whole line, from 1999 to 2026
Born in 1999 from the pen of Calice Becker, J’adore now counts twelve pages: the eau de parfum, its lighter versions, its concentrates, its exceptional editions and the Intense signed by Francis Kurkdjian in 2026.

A bouquet for the year 2000
Dior launched J’adore in 1999, at the instigation of Sabina Belli, then the house’s international director of fragrance products. Calice Becker composed the formula alongside Ann Gottlieb: a fruity, sunny floral, presented in an amphora designed by Hervé Van der Straeten.
More than twenty-five years later, the line counts twelve pages on Olfastory. François Demachy developed it from 2007 to 2022; Francis Kurkdjian, who succeeded him as Dior’s perfume creative director, recomposed L’Or and signed the Intense.
The 1999 eau de parfum
The eau de parfum remains the pillar of the line and Dior’s leading feminine reference. The other J’adore fragrances define themselves against it, by adding a flower to it, concentrating it or lightening it.
1999 · Eau de parfum · Ylang-ylang, Damask rose, jasmine
J’adore
Christian Dior
Calice Becker conceived it as a great floral, fruity bouquet. The house now describes its opening ylang-ylang, Damask rose and a duo of jasmines. Carmen Kass was its first face; Charlize Theron embodied it from 2004 to 2024, before Rihanna took her place.
The lighter versions
From 2013, the line branched out into lighter versions, each built around a new material: iris for Voile de Parfum, neroli for the eau de toilette, water itself for Parfum d’eau.
2013 · Eau de toilette · Iris, Damask rose, white musks
J'adore Voile de Parfum
Christian Dior
François Demachy opens the bouquet on Tuscan iris, which the house wants powdery and comforting like the scent of warm bread. The name does not designate a concentration: it is an eau de toilette with a pinker juice, whose image Charlize Theron carried at its launch.
2016 · Eau de toilette · Blood orange, neroli, Damask rose
J’adore Eau de Toilette
Christian Dior
Launched as J’adore Eau Lumière, the name it keeps in the United States, the eau de toilette places at its center neroli grown near Vallauris, between blood orange and Damask rose. Its juice takes on a pink hue.
2022 · Alcohol-free eau de parfum · Neroli, sambac jasmine, magnolia
J'adore Parfum d'eau
Christian Dior
The first alcohol-free J’adore rests on a patented formula of water and flowers, sprayed as a mist. François Demachy brings together neroli from Vallauris, sambac jasmine and Chinese magnolia, in an opalescent white amphora.
The concentrates
Other versions move toward greater density: the flower absolutes of J’adore Absolu, the tuberose of Infinissime, the gold of J’adore l’Or and, in 2026, J’adore Intense.
2018 · Eau de parfum absolue · Jasmine, magnolia, orange blossom
J’adore Absolu
Christian Dior
The name echoes J’adore L’Absolu, signed by Demachy in 2007. The 2018 version is built around Grasse jasmine, which the perfumer wanted animalic, fruity and sunny; Romain Gavras shot its film in a golden hammam, set to Kanye West’s Flashing Lights.
2020 · Eau de parfum · Tuberose, ylang-ylang, sandalwood
J'adore Infinissime
Christian Dior
Demachy had been asked for a J’adore “more, more, more”: he brought in tuberose from the Grasse region and a creamy sandalwood. Nicholas, of eauxSILLAGE, makes it his favorite version of the line. It also exists as a 20 ml roller-pearl.
2010 · Essence de parfum · Orange blossom, jasmine, centifolia rose
J'adore l'Or
Christian Dior
Demachy created it in 2010 around absolutes of Grasse jasmine and rose. Francis Kurkdjian recomposed it in 2023 as L’Or de J’adore, narrowed to three absolutes; Rachel K. Ng, of ÇaFleurBon, praises the clarity he brings to the bouquet.
2026 · Parfum · Ylang-ylang, rose, jasmine, sandalwood
J'adore Intense
Christian Dior
Francis Kurkdjian turns the J’adore bouquet into a honeyed floral nectar: ylang-ylang at the top, Damascena rose and jasmine grandiflorum tinged with apricot, over a base of sandalwood and vanilla. Rihanna is its face.
Editions and objects
Around the juices, Dior multiplies the forms: a base to layer, a jewelry amphora, holiday cases.
2015 · Perfume base · Sambac jasmine, Damascena rose, sandalwood
J'adore Touche de Parfum
Christian Dior
Designed to personalize J’adore, this base concentrates three materials of the line: Indian sambac jasmine, Damascena rose and Sri Lankan sandalwood. Applied in touches before the J’adore of one’s choice, it alters its accord.
2016 · Exceptional edition · Five copies
J'adore L'Or édition Prestige
Christian Dior
Victoire de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Joaillerie, signs a mouth-blown Baccarat crystal amphora, adorned with a bow drawn from her Dior à Versailles collection. Only five copies exist.
Holidays 2024 · Parfum · Limited edition
J'adore L'Or édition limitée Parfum
Christian Dior
For the 2024 holidays, Dior presented L’Or de J’adore in a bell-shaped case signed by Pietro Ruffo: a celestial sun, a golden mosaic and swirls inspired by French-style gardens. The juice is that of L’Or de J’adore.
What links the J’adore fragrances
The floral bouquet holds the line together. Each version adds a guest material to it, iris, neroli, tuberose or Grasse jasmine, or tightens it into absolutes.
The amphora remains. It changes color with the juice, pink for the eau de toilette, white for Parfum d’eau, and its golden necklace is reinvented: supple for the Absolu, in golden threads for Infinissime, melted into a single ring for L’Or de J’adore.
