Midnight Poison

Midnight Poison came out in 2007, the fifth chapter of the saga begun by Poison in 1985, after Tendre Poison, Hypnotic Poison and Pure Poison. Jacques Cavallier and Olivier Cresp of Firmenich composed it in collaboration with François Demachy of LVMH.

Dior drew on the tale of Cinderella: the bottle evokes the gown of the young woman fleeing the ball in the midnight haze. Osmoz sees in it a modern Cinderella, for whom everything can begin once the twelve strokes have sounded.

Drier than expected

Eva Green, its face, told Women’s Wear Daily, as reported by Now Smell This, that she avoids heavy fragrances and found this one fresher and younger than the other Poisons. Robin of Now Smell This, on the contrary, found it less young and less fresh than Pure Poison.

It was launched as a 30, 50 and 100 ml eau de parfum; Osmoz also mentions an extrait in a small bottle, a shower gel, a lotion, a body cream and a deodorant spray.
