Where to buy

It was about a free and self-assured femininity, at once young but fiercely determined. Also, as if to celebrate its anniversary, Dior decided to unveil a new version to us named Poison Girl Eau de Toilette. Focus on this new perfume which already promises to delight fans of the house of Dior.

The history of the new Poison Girl Eau de Toilette

While Poison Girl Eau de Toilette will only make its appearance in January 2017, its origins are much older. Indeed, this new juice is the heir to the entire Poison lineage of Dior perfumes. The first of them appeared in 1985, embodying a sort of magic elixir capable of seducing anyone who crossed its path. The success was then immense, to such an extent that some American restaurants displayed at the entrance of their establishment the sign: “No Poison,” so much could they no longer stand smelling this scent adored by everyone! It must be said that it required no fewer than 800 trials, 3 years of work and 80 million francs for its launch party! It was then followed by multiple revisits such as Tendre Poison in 1994, Hypnotic Poison in 1998, Pure Poison in 2004, Midnight Poison in 2007 and the latest, Poison Girl in 2016. Each of these revisits was particularly well received by the public and the latest one was no exception to the rule. Also, although Poison Girl Eau de Toilette follows in the continuity of its predecessors, it belongs to a very different woman, more free, more daring and more virtual than ever.

Dior's new woman

The message could not be clearer: I am not a girl, I am poison! Yet, as surprising as it may seem, the Dior woman remains nevertheless particularly tempting. She is at once exuberant, sexy, impertinent, spontaneous and surprisingly free. Also, she is now accompanied by an entirely new perfume named Poison Girl Eau de Toilette. As usual, it was created by the talented François Demachy, exclusive nose of the house of Dior since 2006. He built its scent around three major ingredients. Its opening launches on a flavor of bitter orange, a citrus already present in the Poison Girl perfume. This immediately gives the Dior woman a sparkling allure. Poison Girl Eau de Toilette opens with tangy and slightly fruity effluvia, quickly followed by an absolute femininity. Moreover, Poison Girl Eau de Toilette contains a heart based on Grasse rose, a plant that Dior grows in the Provence region solely for the purpose of creating its perfumes. The exceptional quality of the latter is then illuminated with neroli. Thus, the Dior woman shines more radiantly than ever!
