Juliette Has A Gun

Not A Perfume Superdose

Not A Perfume Superdose takes up the formula of Not a Perfume at 20 % concentration, which Romano Ricci describes as the strength of an essence. The same single raw material, Cetalox, the same refusal to be a perfume, but a sillage that carries and lasts. Released in the autumn of 2019, it addresses those who could not perceive the original.

Where to buy

Juliette Has a Gun launched Not a Perfume in 2010, a fragrance built on a single raw material, which established itself as its best-selling reference. Nine years later, Romano Ricci gives an overdosed version of it, under a name that announces the charge.

An answer to those who could not smell it

The original has a flaw its own admirers know: it turns discreet to the point of vanishing for the person wearing it. The house addresses this version to devotees as much as to those who perceive it poorly, changing nothing but the dose.

The creator’s word

Romano Ricci says he wanted to challenge the best-seller of his own house, and sought once more to unsettle perfumery. He puts a figure on the gap himself: 20 % concentration, that is the olfactory strength of an essence.

An autumn launch, as an exclusive

The fragrance arrived in October 2019 with Not A Collection, a body and home range built on the same raw material. Glass Magazine announced a Selfridges exclusive until the end of October, the brand’s other retailers taking over on November 1.

Olfastory’s review

ÇaFleureBon judges the skin effect at last perceptible, of a woodier and muskier grain than that of the original.
