Orchid Soleil

Built around the orchid, Orchid Soleil is described as a radiant fragrance that is both floral and refreshing. Orchid Soleil opens with a highly fragrant spice, pink pepper. This is stimulated by bitter orange as well as by woodier and more tonic scents, thanks to cypress. The heart of red lily offers numerous fragrances, green, floral, sweet and sun-kissed. The red lily is accompanied by tuberose, a flower once called the Indian hyacinth. The composition gradually evolves toward a base that is at once intense, sweet, suave and gourmand thanks to the combination of vanilla, patchouli, chestnut and whipped cream. The whole is delicately wrapped in orchid. It is certain, the Orchid Soleil woman is sun-kissed and irresistibly seductive.

Although orchid is the major ingredient of this composition, it should be noted that another ingredient, even the most ancestral one in perfumery, is honored here: the red lily! The latter carries numerous symbols. It is said that the lily was born from a drop of Hera's maternal milk, which fell to the ground while she was nursing Heracles, son of Zeus and a mortal. Legend also has it that Aphrodite was jealous of the beauty of this flower and deliberately gave it a prominent and obscene pistil. Later, it was the Bible that spoke of the lily, as Christians consider this flower a symbol of purity. Certain authors have also highlighted it, notably Balzac with Le lys dans la vallée, and Anatole France with Le lys rouge. As for the bottle, it is the same as that of Black Orchid but tinted a coppery pink. The finesse of the fluted glass gives the bottle a very chic touch. So does the small bracelet tied around the neck, and the inscription 23-karat gold, noted directly on the glass.
