L’Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense appeared in 2020 and takes the underground flower of L’Interdit into darkness. Givenchy blends a Madagascar vanilla, a roasted black sesame and an accord of vetiver and patchouli into the bouquet of orange blossom and tuberose, all opened by black pepper, in a black-lacquered bottle.
The L’Interdit bottle lacquered black on the inside, laced at the neck with a black ribbon and signed with the silver 4G logo.
The Eau de Parfum Intense bottle takes up the silhouette of L’Interdit, infused with black through an interior lacquering that Givenchy calls enigmatic. Couture lacing wraps the neck, signed with the house’s silver 4G logo.
The case, in deep black lit by the silver L’Interdit logo, reveals Hubert de Givenchy’s signature inside. The house presents the whole as a black-lacquered work that plays on the contrast of shadow and light.
