Play for Her Intense

Building on this success, Hubert de Givenchy ventured into perfumery in 1958, with L'interdit followed by Le De, two feminine fragrances. In 2010 the house unveiled Play for Her, a musky floral composition in step with its time. The same year, Givenchy also introduced Play for Her Intense, a much warmer fragrance.

Two years later, Givenchy launched their feminine counterparts, Play for Her and Play for Her Intense. The latter is dedicated to bold and playful women. The oriental notes of Play for Her Intense

If the fragrance of Play for Her Intense claims ingredients in common with Play for Her, it is nonetheless entirely different. Very warm and gourmand, Play for Her Intense is an ultra modern perfume that lives with its time. Play for Her Intense opens on luminous, sensual notes thanks to orange blossom and pink pepper. The heart is very feminine and surprisingly floral with the presence of tiare flower and orchid. These are paired with the creaminess of amyris wood. The base is very sensual, composed of patchouli, benzoin, sandalwood and tonka bean, which lends the whole a particularly intense envelope. As for the bottle, it takes up the “MP3” code of its predecessors. Ultra modern and connected, it is this time dressed in mauve. Ringed with silver rhinestones, in a design signed by Serge Mansau, the bottle is like a connected jewel.

In the same year, Play for Her and Play for Her Intense revealed seductive and modern women. While some ingredients are shared between the two compositions, Play for Her Intense is indeed meant to be more intense, warmer and much more gourmand… A fine achievement for a perfume that is not easily forgotten.
