Libre L’Absolu Platine was released in 2023 by Yves Saint Laurent, signed by Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm, who had already composed Libre. The house presents it as the most concentrated version of the line. A white lavender accord, brightened by a plant-derived aldehyde, meets Moroccan orange blossom over a base of Bourbon vanilla, ambergris and heliotrope.
Angélina, on Ambiance & Fragrance, smells an icy lavender at the first spray, quickly warmed by orange blossom, over a powdery, almond-like base.

The blogger finds a version far more concentrated in lavender than the other Libre scents, with an extreme freshness at the first spray that she compares to an icy metallic effect. The radiant orange blossom quickly comes to offset this coldness.
She credits the heliotrope and vanilla with a powdery, balsamic and almond-like finish, which she judges more luxurious and addictive than ever. She finds it long-lived and generously diffusive, and wears it mostly in fall and winter.
