The patchouli in Tuxedo asserts its earthy facet, its undergrowth humidity and a camphoraceous edge. Juliette Karagueuzoglou signs the formula in 2015 for Yves Saint Laurent, in the form of an Eau de Parfum from the chypre family. A dry, sharp black pepper accompanies the patchouli, while ambergris lends woody and animalic accents to the base.

Tuxedo was released in 2015 under the Yves Saint Laurent label. Its formula is the work of Juliette Karagueuzoglou, and the house presents it as an Eau de Parfum, with a peppery patchouli as the main raw material and ambergris as its foundation.

The name refers to the smoking jacket, called tuxedo in English, a men's garment that Yves Saint Laurent transposed into the feminine wardrobe. This borrowing from the history of the fashion house gives its title to the composition, offered in a size of 125 ml.
