Libre L’Absolu Platine was released in 2023 by Yves Saint Laurent, signed by Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm, who had already composed Libre. The house presents it as the most concentrated version of the line. A white lavender accord, brightened by a plant-derived aldehyde, meets Moroccan orange blossom over a base of Bourbon vanilla, ambergris and heliotrope.
The Libre bottle, its gold Cassandre folded into the glass, lined inside with a silver lacquer that evokes platinum; asymmetrical black cap.
L’Absolu Platine takes up the Libre bottle. The gold Cassandre, the house emblem, is folded and set into the glass; this time it is paired with a silvery metallic texture, which the house links to platinum.
A glossy silver lacquer lines the inside of the glass. The house promises a liquid-platinum effect that does not fade as the bottle empties; the silver mirror contrasts with the gold of the logo.
The black cap, set at a slant, gives the bottle the asymmetry of a couture piece. Yves Saint Laurent sells the fragrance in ten, fifty and ninety milliliters.
