Cabarets are currently making a major comeback. These iconic Parisian shows are more popular than ever. The famous Jean-Paul Gaultier therefore decided to ride the trend, treating himself to his own musical at the Folies Bergères, paired with a brand new fragrance named Classique Cabaret.

Classique Cabaret, the glittering return of a perfumery icon

Classique was the very first fragrance created by Jean-Paul Gaultier, in 1993. This feminine essence was striking both for its timeless powdery breath and for its bottle, shaped like a female bust. Shortly after its release, it became one of the best-selling fragrances in the world, and it still ranks among the top sellers today. Year after year, Jean-Paul Gaultier has done everything to keep the legend alive, reinterpreting this fragrance countless times through limited editions. This time, he chose to emphasize the show and the sparkle. Jean-Paul Gaultier's Classique becomes Classique Cabaret. It treats itself to a new shower of stars and feathers, paired with a sequined red dress. Infinitely on trend, its silhouette seems tailor-made for Jessica Rabbit, offering an explosion of sensuality. Both glamorous and tender, this new fragrance is sure to dazzle. Its old-fashioned tin can shape is also transformed. It takes on a new flamboyant red hue paired with a few infinitely festive golden accents. On the scent side, Classique Cabaret is a floral and gourmand juice. From its top notes onward, it dares to display its full sensuality, incorporating into its recipe one of the most aphrodisiac ingredients there is: ginger. Its peppery freshness is then carried by the Mediterranean brightness of orange blossom. Finally, Jean-Paul Gaultier's Classique Cabaret ends on a more syrupy and carnal base of vanilla and ambergris.

Classique Cabaret, an echo of Jean-Paul Gaultier's current news

Jean-Paul Gaultier's Classique Cabaret is a fragrance that echoes one of the most sought-after shows of the moment: the Fashion Freak Show. The designer indeed decided to stage his life in a new musical performed at the Folies Bergères, an iconic Parisian venue. The Fashion Freak Show is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Performed to the soundtrack Le fric, c'est chic!, composed by Neil Rogers, guitarist of the band Chic, the show promises to be perfectly in step with Jean Paul Gaultier's very first runway show from 1976. It features no fewer than 17 different performers and brings together 200 sumptuous costumes, enough to bring a shower of stars to your eyes!
