A supreme pleasure that belongs to her alone and reveals her own story. It would seem that a new chapter of this story is being written today. Indeed, Viktor & Rolf has just announced the upcoming release of a limited edition of its famous fragrance. It is named Bonbon Pink Bow and promises to be at least as addictive as its predecessor.

The flavor of the new Bonbon by Viktor & Rolf

To create this new fragrance, Viktor & Rolf simply chose to call on the two perfumers who had already worked on the design of its predecessor. Thus, Bonbon Pink Bow is the work of Cécile Matton and Serge Majoullier. This is why it carries the influences of its two quite different creators. Serge Majoullier says he is fascinated by nature. However, he particularly likes gourmand fragrances. Cécile Matton, for her part, especially appreciates working with woody notes. Thus, it is a little of their shared love for these raw materials that can be found in Viktor & Rolf’s new glamorous and conceptual fragrance. Bonbon Pink Bow opens with a fresh and energizing blend of citrus. It also contains mandarin and orange. Peach, for its part, gives it a more velvety and juicy aspect. Then, the gourmand character emblematic of the Bonbon collection makes its appearance. Bonbon Pink Bow develops around a heart built on caramel. This is nonetheless paired with the opulent richness of jasmine as well as the sun-kissed quality of orange blossom. The whole becomes particularly sweet, floral, soft and powdery. Then, the composition gradually shifts toward a more enveloping and deep base. This contains amber, sandalwood and guaiac wood. Bonbon Pink Bow then closes on an animalic and sensual sensation emanating from musk.

The highly festive design of the new Bonbon Pink Bow

If Bonbon already offered an absolutely fascinating visual, it would seem that Bonbon Pink Bow pushes this effect to its peak. Indeed, it reclaims the look of its predecessor while pairing it with a pale pink chrome bow at the neck. Thus, two similar shapes echo one another here. Bonbon Pink Bow is a pure pleasure for the eyes as well as the result of a genuine technical feat. It showcases absolutely exceptional glassblowing work, with everything ideally proportioned. What is more, its mouthwatering pink color is a true invitation to touch. The whole immediately evokes a sweet flavor with a single glance. The composition also subtly plays between shading and pleating. What is more, the shape of Bonbon Pink Bow inevitably echoes the couture world of the house of Viktor & Rolf. Once again, the house has made a strong impression and has no intention of leaving anyone indifferent.
