Where to buy
Repetto is the very embodiment of classical dance. This renowned house has accompanied the greatest prima ballerinas on the planet since 1947. Repetto is now considered an absolute reference, nourishing the dreams of little girls imagining themselves one day treading the finest stages in their ballet flats. Today, Repetto extends this enchantment and envelops us in gourmand character with its new fragrance Dance With Repetto.
Dance and Repetto, a long-standing story
It all began when Rose Repetto decided to make a pair of shoes for her son, a great Parisian dancer. Repetto ballet flats were quickly noticed and the house's reputation gradually grew until it became one of the greatest references on the planet in classical dance. Carrying grace as its heritage, Repetto eventually decided to turn its attention to the world of perfumery, without forgetting its origins. Each of its compositions is delicate and refined, as if guided by movement. Indeed, it is precisely this vibrant, airy aura that is found in the bottle of Dance With Repetto.
This new fragrance categorically breaks with the house's previous designs. This time, Dance With Repetto comes in a cylindrical bottle, rising toward the sky. However, this is not a classic straight cylinder. Its glass seems cradled by movement. Undulations run across its surface and a belt signed Repetto underlines its waist. Its copper-peach color is a concentration of sensuality. Once again, Repetto does not shy away from the femininity of its new composition. On screen, Repetto has also decided to call on one of the greatest dancers of the moment. Succeeding Dorothée Gilbert, Marion Barbeau is the new face of the campaign for Dance With Repetto. She will be directed by the Paris Opera choreographer, Sébastien Bertaud.
The new gourmand fragrance composition of Dance With Repetto
In terms of scent, with Dance With Repetto, the house wanted to address a new category of customers. Until now, Repetto fragrances were aimed more at young women. Now, this is a more gourmand and refined composition, targeting more mature consumers. Dance With Repetto owes its existence to a trio of perfumers made up of Nathalie Lorson, Annick Ménardo and Olivier Cresp of Firmenich. Dance With Repetto first opens on a confectionery scent composed of fruits and a macaron accord. Raspberry brings a tangier facet. Then, Dance With Repetto develops into a floral heart of jasmine and heliotrope. Finally, this fragrance ends on a more syrupy, sensual base. Its sensuality is wrapped in vanilla and a milkier tonka bean. The result is a composition brimming with tenderness, at once fresh and airy while possessing a certain body and a dose of seduction more assertive than ever.

The advertising
Repetto signs an advertisement with Marion Barbeau for its fragrance
The Repetto brand is famous the world over for its ballet flats and delights the greatest prima ballerinas on the planet. Its shoes are renowned for their exceptional quality and are the work of decades-old craftsmanship. Repetto nourishes the dreams of many little girls who hope one day to tread the stage of the greatest opera houses in the world. Today, to accompany their growth and guide them toward their future, Repetto has crafted a fragrance akin to an ode to the dancer's liberation. For the occasion, it comes with an advertisement that is at once poetic, aquatic and spontaneous.
Dance With Repetto, a fragrance driven by freedom
Dance With Repetto comes in a bottle cinched like a dancer, its glass rippling under the effect of light. It instinctively conveys a sense of movement and embodies the image of a modern, liberated woman. Its gourmand, floral breath seems carried by the enthusiasm and passions of a dancer. This inspiring, vibrant fragrance first opens on an appetizing raspberry macaron before developing into an enormous bouquet of flowers. Dance With Repetto is finally structured with patchouli softened by tonka bean, vanilla and caramel.
The Dance with Repetto TV commercial
To match the image of this fragrance, Repetto called on choreographer Sébastien Bertaud for the third consecutive time. Passionate about dance since he was six years old, he works within the Paris Opera and is characterized by an elegant and synthetic approach between classical vocabulary and contemporary aesthetics. He chose here to move away from classical elegance toward something more engaged, something more human, more about feeling. Thus, the commercial for the Dance With Repetto fragrance features a dancer moving through water. A true element of the choreography, she brings more commitment and movement to this visual. What emerges is the image of a liberated woman, stronger and more aquatic than ever.
Marion Barbeau, the new dancer of Dance With Repetto
To embody the image of this letting go, Sébastien Bertaud and Repetto placed their trust in Marion Barbeau, showcased in the role of Marie for the new version of The Nutcracker, one of the most famous ballets of the Paris National Opera. This was a first for her. Marion Barbeau had never been a face of a campaign before, nor had she ever danced in water. Dance With Repetto is a fragrance that required a great deal of letting go from her. She emphasizes that it is a fragrance that celebrates dance, women and freedom. With it, she pushed her movements to the fullest and dared to be herself. The result is a harmonious setting, at once fairly consensual while offering a new approach to classical dance. It all plays out to music by Guillaume Le Henaff. Dance With Repetto was directed by Bérénice Rapegno and photographed by Julien Vallon.
