L’Interdit Elixir is the Eau de Parfum Givenchy added in 2026 to L’Interdit, signed by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Meabh McCurtin. The house describes it as a floral woody gourmand: black cherry takes hold of the line’s white bouquet of orange blossom, tuberose and sambac jasmine, deepened by an oakwood extract and an accord of rum, davana and vanilla.
Givenchy places L’Interdit Elixir among the woody gourmand florals. The top pairs a black cherry accord, dark and gourmand according to the house, with bitter almond; from the opening, the cherry takes hold of the line’s white bouquet.
The heart keeps L’Interdit’s floral signature, orange blossom, tuberose absolute and sambac jasmine absolute, and deepens it with a pure oakwood extract. The base gathers an accord the house calls intoxicating, made of rum absolute, davana essence and vanilla extract.
Compared with the 2018 L’Interdit, which sets its white flowers against a base of patchouli, vetiver and ambroxan, the Elixir names neither patchouli nor vetiver: cherry, rum and vanilla carry its warmth.
