White Suede
White Suede reveals all the beauty of musk. Thomas Ford was born in Texas in 1961. After studying architecture and art history, Tom Ford went into fashion. His career really began in 1990 when he was hired by Gucci.

Where to buy
He became artistic director of the house of Gucci in 1994. He managed to bring a wind of modernity to Gucci, with more “sexy” clothing, propelling the brand to the top international ranks. His first perfume in 2006 was called Black Orchid. In 2009, he presented White Suede, a fragrance that is part of the Private Blend line.
The White Musk line
The White Musk line, with musk as the main ingredient, comprises four references. It includes White Suede, Urban Musk, Jasmine Musk and Musk Pure. All are part of Tom Ford's famous Private Blend collection. The latter is an ultra-selective collection of twelve unisex, powerful fragrances. Private Blend is regarded as a very private and above all very personal collection, into which Tom Ford poured his whole soul. Each of the collection's compositions highlights one ingredient, be it patchouli, amber, vanilla or musk as with White Suede. Here, musk does not deliver its usual animalic and raw side, instead offering a very particular softness. White Suede brings musk together with floral accents, in a leather accord with suede scents. White Suede is a fragrance that is at once tender, pure, and delightfully hypnotic.
The universal charm of musk
White Suede is an ultra-captivating fragrance that underscores the charm of musk through the attractive power of leather and a velvety rose. White Suede opens on Bulgarian rose, paired with a spicy accord of saffron and thyme. In the heart, the suede accord is reinforced by smoky notes of tea and yerba mate and by olibanum. Lily of the valley gives this heart a touch of transparency and freshness. White Suede develops into a smooth, woody sillage, blended with sandalwood and amber. As for the bottle, it follows the same codes as the other perfumes in the White Musk line. Sober and refined, the rectangular bottle is topped with a white cap and a beige label.
The charm of musk in an apothecary vial, that is White Suede. This fragrance is part of the White Musk line, which showcases a particular ingredient. The four fragrances in this line are themselves part of Tom Ford's Private Blend collection. The latter carefully selects raw materials and then presents powerful, unisex compositions.
