Also, it is once again a new face of this olfactory star that is offered by the house Yves Saint-Laurent. Black Opium thus returns in a Nuit Blanche version, to our great pleasure.
The story of an emblematic fragrance signed Yves Saint-Laurent
It was in 1977 that the house Yves Saint Laurent created the perfume Opium. This fragrance was intended for an elegant, intelligent, chic woman with a nonchalant beauty. Nevertheless, this scent found itself at the heart of every controversy due to its illicit connotation referencing drug use. The controversy was such that Opium quickly became the center of every conversation. Against all expectations, this brought it immense publicity and helped make it a legend of perfumery. Also, in 2014, Yves Saint-Laurent decided to modernize this emblematic scent to adapt it to today's women. From then on, femininity is perceived in a more masculine way than before. Women are freer than ever, liberated from every social constraint and living life in a rock 'n' roll way. Such is, at any rate, the philosophy of the perfume Black Opium. Like it, the new Black Opium Nuit Blanche proves to be particularly rock and electric. It takes us to the heart of a city that never sleeps, in a particularly hypnotic atmosphere. It is thus seen as a dose of adrenaline allowing us to stay up all night.
The euphoric scent of Black Opium Nuit Blanche
The house Yves Saint-Laurent likes to describe Black Opium Nuit Blanche as the most subversive of adrenaline doses: the one that will make you live an all-nighter, without limit, until dawn. Also, no fewer than four perfumers were needed to create such a perfume. Black Opium Nuit Blanche is the work of Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Honorine Blanc and Olivier Cresp. Together, they created a particularly energizing fragrance based on orange blossom and coffee. This duo forms the main ingredients of this fragrance. Nevertheless, they are backed by a more sensual and suave base containing vanilla, sandalwood and white musk. Thus, Black Opium Nuit Blanche lacks nothing in sensuality. Moreover, this is also highlighted by its jewel-like bottle. The latter takes up the emblematic shape of all the Opium fragrances. It combines a square shape with voluptuous curves, featuring a round porthole at its center. Its sparkling finish, once black, has given way to a white color more incandescent than ever. Thus, the whole is akin to the reflections of the lights of an electric city that never sleeps.
