Histoire d'Orangers is a fragrance we owe to the talented creator Marie Salamagne. A true artist at heart, she has a passion for many creative fields, whether dance, painting or music. For her, perfumery is a craft of patience and humility in which the perfumer offers up part of their memories, their history and their own personality. Thus, she most often enjoys using raw materials with strong character and multiple facets. To create Histoire d'Orangers, she chose to draw more specifically on one of the most memorable trips of her life, in the heart of the Souss Valley in Morocco, a place located between Tazenakht and Taroudant. She says she was fascinated by the vast fertile plains stretching as far as the eye can see, at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. She also explains that she was carried away by the contrast between the desert heat and the cooler, more maritime freshness coming from the Bay of Agadir and its ocean coast. Finally, she still recalls with emotion the beauty of the sunsets. It is this entire contrast that she brought together in her fragrance, creating a juice resembling a delicate water, bathed in light and freshness.

The sun-kissed composition of Histoire d'Orangers

Histoire d'Orangers is a fragrance that invites daydreaming. Far from being overly extravagant, it stands out through its subtle writing and the exceptional quality of its raw materials. Deeply inspired by the Moroccan atmosphere, Histoire d'Orangers is filled with solar notes. It opens with a blend of white tea and neroli, an essential oil produced from orange blossom. This typically Mediterranean plant is also present in the heart of the fragrance. It lets its feminine and delicate breath drift while wrapping it in hevletolide. This ingredient is a synthetic compound created by the company Firmenich. It is a raw material classified within the musk family while also possessing a slight fruity aspect. Its scent recalls that of a ripe pear. It is soon followed by a more enveloping and sensual sillage. Histoire d'Orangers finally concludes with a duo of tonka bean and ambroxan. The whole is presented in a 100 ml bottle, more than enough to let the imagination wander.
