Today, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this collection, Guerlain has chosen to create three different perfumes, a first! Flora Cherrysia is the most floral and fruity version, highlighting the optimistic breath of the cherry blossom.

Thus, each of these fragrances highlights a specific raw material characteristic of a particular country. To create its scents, Guerlain’s perfumers do not hesitate to travel the entire planet, setting off in search of exotic ingredients. As a result, each Aqua Allegoria miraculously recreates the scent of its country of origin, while at the same time providing an absolute sense of happiness for the wearer. Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria fragrances are raw materials, captured in fine weather and in the heart of nature, by chance in a garden, a wood or on a beach, here or at the other end of the world. Already evoked in the previous Cherry Blossom, the cherry blossom takes us to Asia, and more specifically to Japan, a country where it is a true symbol.

Flora Cherrysia, the perfume tribute to cherry blossom

Like all the Aqua Allegoria perfumes, the new 2019 Flora Cherrysia comes in a bottle that reinterprets Guerlain’s iconic Bee Bottle, originally created in 1853 for Empress Eugénie. Here, this legendary bottle is reinterpreted in a more modern way. Through the transparency of its perfectly smooth glass, the Flora Cherrysia fragrance radiates a soft pink color. The light, for its part, passes through a honeycomb-carved dome, glowing with a golden color. The bee, of course, has not been forgotten. It is finely engraved here in the roundness of the gold cap of Flora Cherrysia. The front of this perfume is then covered with a label that is both simple and refined.

In terms of scent, Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia is a sparkling, floral and fruity perfume. Of course, with this composition, Guerlain is targeting Asian customers more specifically. That said, European and American women too are sure to be won over by its romantic scent. The cherry blossom here is dressed in sparkling bergamot. Nashi pear and watermelon further reinforce its freshness. Violet, in turn, gives the whole a more powdery scent. Finally, the composition ends with a pure white musk scent. Guerlain describes its new perfume as an evanescent floral, open to the sky and as though delicately caressed by the wind.
