These seem to come straight from wonderful dreams. This is precisely how the very first Nina of 2006 was imagined. Since its release, it has remained the brand's best-seller and has given rise, year after year, to new derivatives of its scent. In 2022, it becomes brighter than ever and is named Nina Soleil.
Nina Soleil, a perfume imbued with optimism
Every perfumer has their own world. At Nina Ricci, optimism is the rule and cheerfulness always holds a place of choice. Thus, Nina is crafted like a heroine straight out of a fairy tale, trailing a touch of romanticism wherever she goes. As a worthy descendant of the collection, Nina Soleil follows exactly this philosophy. It celebrates optimism, filling everyday life with light. Nina Soleil is imagined as a carefree aroma. Fresh and summery, it gives pride of place to the gourmand character. With it, women smile. They have only one desire: to celebrate the arrival of sunny days by singing!
The gourmand composition of Nina Soleil
Nina Soleil by Nina Ricci owes its existence to two talented perfumers: Amandine Clerc-Marie and Olivier Cresp. Together, they decided to transform the poetic and floral scent of the very first Nina into an even creamier and more gourmand fragrance. Thoroughly sun-kissed, Nina Soleil also aims to be very airy. Moreover, its light freshness is noticeable from its top notes. These are composed of mandarin and bergamot. In a burst of femininity, Nina Soleil by Nina Ricci builds around a floral heart of gardenia. To make one's mouth water, this raw material is accompanied by a whipped cream accord. Scented with vanilla, it finally ends with a more lingering, woody touch of cedar.
Nina Ricci's apple takes on a yellow hue
For the release of Nina Soleil, Nina Ricci decided to rethink its perfume bottle and give it a brand new color. While the previous opus of the collection was entirely red, Nina Soleil now favors yellow. It runs across the entirety of its walls. The whole is a nod to the summer season, to citrus fruits and to the sun. Naturally, the bottle of Nina Soleil once again takes the shape of an apple. The forbidden fruit is bitten into on its front face, revealing an inner facet of white streaked with yellow. One could almost believe that this apple actually conceals a delicious cake made of whipped cream...
