Where to buy
She founded the house of Nina Ricci in 1932 and settled on rue des Capucines in Paris. Nina Ricci established herself as an accomplished and passionate creator. She ventured into perfumery in 1941. The bottle featuring two doves symbolizing freedom would become iconic. “Nina” made its appearance in 2006, with another legendary bottle, the apple. In 2013, after several olfactory variations, the house presented “Nina l'Eau,” crisper than ever.
Once upon a time, Nina…
It should first be noted that the very first “Nina” fragrance was a tribute from Robert Ricci to his late mother… In 2006, Nina Ricci presented “Nina,” an ultra-romantic essence portraying a happy and joyful young woman. “Nina” resembles a modern-day princess. Over the course of its fragrances, “Nina” transforms and becomes by turns sweet, fruity, mysterious, sensual, but “Nina” always remains sparkling. With “Nina,” the apple-shaped bottle, deliciously gourmand, became a second identity for the house, one that stuck to its skin. In 2013, the house imagined “Nina l'Eau.” This fragrance is the essence of a young girl becoming a woman. “Nina l'Eau” transports us into a world of dreams, lightness and magic. The lovely young girl of the early days has not changed, she has simply grown up, while keeping all her charm. With “Nina l'Eau,” our princess offers us a new chapter of the fairy tale, delicately fresh and ultra crisp.
The floral-fruity structure of Nina l'Eau
While enchantment and dreaminess remain at the heart of the “Nina” fragrances, “Nina l'Eau” aims to be more sensual and more liberated. Its floral-fruity structure reveals an airy eau. “Nina l'Eau” opens with the refreshing note of neroli. This blends wonderfully with sweet, juicy fruits such as mandarin, grapefruit and apple. In the heart, apple blossom mingles with the voluptuousness of gardenia. The base is made ultra sensual by the presence of white musks. For the bottle, Nina Ricci chose to revisit the legendary apple. It is tinted a softer, frosted pink. Its silver and white cap gives it a fairy-tale, highly contemporary touch.
“Nina l'Eau” is a new page in the Nina fairy tale. A modern-day princess, Nina has evolved into a world of sweetness and magic. Older, yet just as charming, “Nina l'Eau” reveals a new facet of princess Nina's personality. The apple, both object and legendary bottle, remains present. White and silver, it is fresher and crisper than ever.
