Where to buy
It was indeed in 2006 that “Nina” came into being. A magical fragrance and a bottle famous for its tremendous success. Over 10 years, “Nina” has continued to reinvent itself, giving rise each year to new olfactory creations… Ten years of emotion, desire, gourmand character! To mark this very special anniversary, Nina Ricci unveils the newcomer “Nina Pop”. A pop whirlwind for a very arty universe.
Nina Pop, an essence more festive than ever
For this new essence, Nina Ricci did not wish to unsettle its many fans and connoisseurs. “Nina Pop” therefore keeps the same olfactory structure, that is to say its candy apple scent, juicy and sparkling to the utmost. The top notes open with a caipirinha accord. This very sweet essence blends with lime and Calabrian lemon. The heart of “Nina Pop” is a blend of peony petals, for sensuality, with praline, for the gourmand notes. This is where the apple makes its entrance. A red apple, sweet, plump and vanilla-tinged, that one wants to bite into wholeheartedly. The base releases wafts of cedarwood and apple wood. Finally, musk offers its woody and warm notes as a finish.
The apple, the forbidden fruit by Nina Ricci
The success of “Nina” would not be the same without its emblematic bottle, the candy apple! The forbidden fruit is an integral part of Nina Ricci's DNA, since the first apple-shaped fragrance dates back to 1952 with “Fille d'Ève”. The bottle of “Nina Pop” therefore keeps its apple shape, revisited in a more contemporary way. Its style is more arty, meaning more pop and very colorful. The apple of “Nina Pop” is lacquered in a radiant white color. It is scattered with numerous small festive dots, in red, pink, yellow, purple or blue. For this occasion, Nina Ricci pulled out all the stops, organizing a multitude of joyful events. “Nina Pop” even received a big birthday present… Did someone say gourmand?
Nina Ricci decided to make its fans of sweet fragrances happy. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its cult fragrance “Nina”, the house gives birth to “Nina Pop”. While Nina Ricci did not want to entirely revisit the composition of "Nina Pop", the latter is nonetheless crunchier and more pop than ever. Collectors will be able to add one more apple to their happiness. Indeed, Nina Ricci's forbidden fruit remains an integral part of its fragrance. More colorful and more gourmand, “Nina Pop” whets the appetite.
