L’Amour is a story of tenderness and sharing between an internationally renowned glassmaking house and women. These women who daily inspired the artistic work of René Lalique, who drove him to create works of glass featuring fantastical and utterly beautiful feminine creatures. Naturally, when the house of Lalique chose to let us experience L’Amour, the glass designs the master created for a palace in Tokyo, which became the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum Teien, would adorn the bottle.

In the 1920s, René Lalique created, for a Japanese prince visiting France, magnificent glass doors that adorned his ceremonial hall in Tokyo. The palace having become one of the most famous museums in the world, Lalique’s work on these women with feathered wings ablaze with color still delights the eyes of visitors.

Woman, that being Lalique revered above all else, thus appears in every note of this fragrance L’Amour. How, then, could one not offer her a love potion that, as in its advertising campaign, rains down rose petals? The glass cube (identical to the one used for Lalique Le Parfum), crafted around René Lalique’s Japanese creation, offers a good many wonders within its juice! A true ode to absolute femininity, Nathalie Lorson created with L’Amour a concentrate of the most beautiful flowers.

In the top notes, L’Amour surprises with a lightning strike of tonic citrus bergamot. Then the tenderness of rose and neroli notes comes to temper these wild surges of the heart. Jasmine and gardenia appear to illuminate the beating heart of L’Amour with their delicacy, while mysterious tuberose lends its green nuances. Skin turns to velvet with blond, woody depths of sandalwood and cedar, before finally coming together in an intoxicating and terribly addictive musk.
