Nina Le Parfum

Nina Le Parfum: the icon takes a bite of the night. Eighteen years after the famous pink apple of 2006, Nina Ricci presents Nina Le Parfum (2024). Perfumer Olivia Giacobetti reorchestrates the gourmand tale: the emblematic candy apple turns more carmine, coated in a salted butter caramel heightened by a burst of lemon, before giving way to a velvety jasmine and a long-lasting woody vanilla. More sensual than the original, more couture than the whimsical editions, this intense juice dresses the woman in a scarlet red gown and follows her to the end of the night.

Where to buy

Nina Ricci presents Nina Le Parfum in 2023, a new installment in the Nina collection, whose apple-shaped bottle was launched in 2006. The house, founded in 1932 in Paris, had released its first perfume, Cœur de Joie, in 1946, before L’Air du Temps. Nina Ricci belongs to the Puig group.

The house attributes Nina Le Parfum to Olivier Cresp and Ilias Ermenidis. Nina Ricci describes the composition as fruity floral woody, built around a trio of apples enhanced by an upcycled Italian lemon, a theme carried over from the forbidden fruit already presented in June 2023 before the French release.

Nina Ricci frames this launch as part of a stated clean and vegan fragrance approach, presented as the eco-responsible continuation of the Nina franchise.

The campaign features American actress Kiernan Shipka, chosen by the house's fashion artistic director Harris Reed. The advertising film, directed by Studio l'Étiquette (Manon Engel and Alma de Riou) with choreography by Yoann Bourgeois, was shot at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and released starting July 2023.

Choreography at Vaux-le-Vicomte

Released starting July 2023, the film features Kiernan Shipka at Vaux-le-Vicomte, with choreography by Yoann Bourgeois.

The film is released starting July 2023, on television and on social media, with its creation handled in-house at Nina Ricci (Puig). Direction is by Studio l'Étiquette, namely Manon Engel and Alma de Riou, and the sequences are choreographed by Yoann Bourgeois.

The shoot takes place at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, where the heroine, in a pink bustier gown, pursues the forbidden-fruit bottle up a staircase. Kiernan Shipka plays the lead role: Nina Ricci presents the American actress as Harris Reed's muse, and the dress she wears was offered exclusively, in limited quantities.

The Nina line was previously embodied by Ruslana Korshunova for the first campaign, Florrie Arnold for Nina L'Elixir in 2010, Frida Gustavsson for Nina L'Eau in 2013, then Estella Boersma for Nina Rouge in 2019 and Nina Rose in 2020.
