Miss Dior

Miss Dior is Dior’s feminine eau de parfum, heir to the 1947 name and to the Miss Dior Chérie of 2005, renamed in 2012. Rewritten by François Demachy in 2017 and 2021, it was recomposed in 2026 by Francis Kurkdjian as a vanilla chypre: Grasse centifolia rose absolute, creamy vanilla, almondy tonka bean, milky sandalwood, patchouli and rosewood.

Two signed readings of the 2026 vanilla chypre: Eleanor Vousden finds it more chypre and woodier than the 2021 version, Elena Knezevic sweeter and sharper, with nothing new about it.

Eleanor Vousden, Who What Wear

For Eleanor Vousden, who compared the two bottles in August 2026 for Who What Wear UK, the 2021 version was honeyed, fruity and powdery, between iris, lily of the valley and apricot-toned peony. The new one keeps the recognizable Grasse rose and lines it with patchouli, creamy sandalwood and rosewood: more chypre, more woody, with a smooth, creamy drydown.

Elena Knezevic, Fragrantica

Elena Knezevic, on August 9, 2026, sees nothing new in the recomposition: sweeter and sharper, the rose strikes her as pinker and jammier, in a style she finds artificial yet very much of its time. She ends up preferring the irisy softness of 2021 and files the modern Miss Diors among the typical fruity florals.
