L’Homme À la Rose

Francis Kurkdjian composed À la Rose in 2014, a rose that became emblematic of his house. Six years later, he drew a masculine counterpart from it, which arrived on September 1, 2020, in the boutiques and retail network of Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

The perfumer had set himself a guideline: a men’s perfume that smells of rose, luminous, fresh and highly diffusive, a recognizable and signed rose. He says he wanted to give men the power to wear a perfume that smells of rose.

What the house says

The house describes an intensely fresh, green and sparkling opening, where the grapefruit accord joins the essence of Damascena rose. This burst gives way to a rosy, woody heart, which amber woody facets gradually make more sensual.

It sees in it a rose of character, fresh and luminous, intended for men, and classes it among the woody florals. The sage comes from the Drôme, the centifolia rose from Grasse, the Damask rose from Bulgaria and the cistus from Spain.

L’Homme À la Rose is sold in seventy- and thirty-five-milliliter bottles.
