François Demachy has always lived in Grasse, since his father was a pharmacist there. He thus learned, from a very young age, to admire flowers and scents. Though he was destined for a career as a dentist, young François Demachy nevertheless managed to enter perfumery school. Upon graduating, he was hired by Chanel, alongside Henri Robert, the father of N°19... In 2006, the LVMH group contacted him to become the house perfumer of Dior. His first challenge was to create a flanker to the famous Poison. He then created Midnight Poison. Miss Dior, a luminous chypre
Miss Dior is defined as a sensual floral chypre. The opening of Miss Dior is very bright and ultra fresh thanks to the presence of blood orange, Sicilian mandarin, and bergamot. It should be noted that blood orange has red flesh due to anthocyanin, a pigment that gives color to many fruits but is very rarely found in citrus fruits.
