Miss Dior

Dior does not divide the 2026 version into tiers. The house places at the center the centifolia rose absolute, also called May rose, with its honeyed, delicately peppery facets. Around it, two accords: the gourmand, almondy notes of vanilla and tonka bean absolute, and the creamy milky sandalwood accord, joined to patchouli and rosewood essence.

A pyramid with no top

This reading gives the rose as a heart note, with the woods, vanilla and tonka in the base. The house declares no top-note material, and none is added. The rose absolute comes from Dior’s estates in Grasse, where the flower is harvested in May.

The previous versions

The 2017 Miss Dior rested on two roses, the Grasse rose and the Damascena, opening on blood orange, mandarin and Calabrian bergamot, with pink pepper and a rosewood from Guyana. The 2021 version placed centifolia at the center of a bouquet of lily of the valley, apricot-toned peony and powdery iris, over woods and vanilla.

Further back, the 2005 Chérie played strawberry, caramelized popcorn, mandarin, violet, jasmine, patchouli and musks. The 2011 reformulation erased its confectionery side; it is from that renamed perfume that the current eau de parfum takes its name.

What the label declares

The ingredient list Dior publishes for the 100 ml names vanillin, santalol, bergamot peel oil, linalyl acetate, rose oil, sandalwood oil, patchouli oil and geranium oil. These naturals and molecules answer the accords the house describes: rose, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla.

The declared allergens include linalool, limonene, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol, coumarin, citronellol, farnesol, citral, eugenol, benzyl cinnamate, anise alcohol, benzyl alcohol, benzyl salicylate and benzyl benzoate. Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane filters light, triethyl citrate stabilizes the formula, and four colorants, CI 17200, CI 14700, CI 19140 and CI 60730, give the perfume its pink tint.
