Miss Dior Le Parfum

Dior opens the fragrance on a warm mandarin that dominates fruity top notes. The heart brings together two rose absolutes, a quivering Turkish one and a fruitier Bulgarian one; Indonesian patchouli, vegetal amber and soft vanilla complete what the house calls an oriental accord.

Osmoz describes a Bulgarian rose surrounded by fruity facets from the opening, a heart both spicy and floral, and a more oriental trail where a leather note joins vanilla, amber and patchouli. Leather, absent from Dior’s list, stays out of the notes.

Jasmine also stays out of this version: Escentual noted in 2012 that it favored amber, patchouli, vanilla and the two roses over the mandarin and jasmine of the Miss Dior eau de parfum.
