Daisy Eau So Fresh

Daisy Eau So Fresh is an eau de toilette for women launched by Marc Jacobs in 2011 and composed by Alberto Morillas, creator of the original Daisy. This fruity floral opens on pink grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves and pear, sets violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee and jasmine at its heart, and rests on musks, plum and cedar.

Marc Jacobs launched Daisy Eau So Fresh in 2011 as a fruitier, more playful version of Daisy. Alberto Morillas, perfumer of the original Daisy, also signed this variation, which the house presents as a radiant bouquet of fruits and flowers.

The house describes it as a sparkling, whimsical Daisy, sophisticated without taking itself too seriously, designed for a woman who is both bold and feminine, sweet and unpredictable. The perfume keeps the vintage, offbeat spirit of Marc Jacobs’ collections.

Daisy Eau So Fresh is still sold today as an eau de toilette in 30, 75 and 125 ml, and the house also offers it in a gift set with a scented body lotion.

What critics say

Robin (Now Smell This) finds Daisy Eau So Fresh fruitier, sweeter and lighter on flowers than Daisy; Tia Williams (Essence) makes it her favorite summer scent, sparkling, cheerful and quietly sensual.

The advertising

Hannah Holman among the daisies

Model Hannah Holman became the face of Daisy Eau So Fresh in 2011, in a campaign photographed by Juergen Teller.

The launch campaign, unveiled in January 2011, features model Hannah Holman, photographed by Juergen Teller, a longtime collaborator of Marc Jacobs. It was her first major campaign, shot in the middle of a field of daisies.

Hannah Holman recalls improvising a horseback ride during the shoot and never having seen so many daisies. For her the perfume evokes the countryside or a vacation, whereas the original Daisy feels more urban.
