Thus, each spring, Armani unveils a new fragrance belonging to the Armani Privé collection. This one draws inspiration from its spring-summer fashion collection while carrying us into a wildly refined world. This time, Armani chose to set its sights on iris, and it is at the heart of the new fragrance Charm’ that this noble flower has been extensively showcased.

The Armani Privé collection, a concentration of luxury and rarity

First, it is worth recalling what ambitions the Armani Privé collection responds to. As Giorgio Armani explains, in the past, perfume was a genuine luxury industry where creators worked with great perfumers to create original fragrances using high-quality ingredients. That is what I sought in this project: to create a highly exclusive line of fragrances, the haute couture of perfume. Remarkable fragrances, all touched by a hint of exoticism. Each of the Armani Privé fragrances commands admiration and is based on a formula containing numerous natural ingredients, rare enough in perfumery these days to be worth noting. Moreover, like every Armani Privé fragrance, Charm’ clearly intends to play on its rarity. Indeed, this new fragrance will be available in a limited edition, in only 1000 pieces, in a 100 ml size, at a price of €575.

The floral and carnal aspect of Charm’ Privé

Charm’ is a fragrance that echoes perfectly the brand’s latest spring-summer collection from Armani. Moreover, their two names are very similar. This fashion collection is called Charmani. The Charm’ fragrance chose to place iris at the center of its composition. It must be said that this is one of the noblest flowers in the entire perfumer’s palette. It gives off a sun-kissed, feminine facet that beautifully echoes the airy chic of Armani’s ready-to-wear line. The Italian house managed to capture the delicately bluish essence of this flower. Its opening is very floral while remaining invigorating. Charm’ combines green accents with the freshness of bergamot. Its heart, on the other hand, warms up with guaiac wood and incense. Patchouli also lends structure to the entire composition. Finally, Armani’s Charm’ ends with more carnal notes of vanilla absolute and white musk. The whole is presented in a bottle echoing the emblematic shape of the Armani Privé collection fragrances. It is topped with a pebble-shaped cap and is entirely tinted in a purple and bluish gradient. As one might expect, this is an ultimate homage to iris. It also comes with an organza pouch from the Charmani collection. Thus, for the Italian house, couture and perfumery have become one.
