Gaultier Divine
Gaultier Divine is the eau de parfum launched by Jean Paul Gaultier in August 2023, signed by Quentin Bisch and embodied by Yara Shahidi. A white lily, a meringue and a salty note compose, according to the house, a gourmand floral with a marine twist, on a base of musk and patchouli. The bottle reprises the house's conical corset, a tribute to Madonna's bustier, in a gold-toned version.

Where to buy
Gaultier Divine was launched in August 2023 by Jean Paul Gaultier as the house's new feminine fragrance, with Quentin Bisch as perfumer, according to WWD.
The house places this launch within the history of the conical corset, which has been its avant-garde signature since 1976; the gold corset bottle draws on the conical bustier worn by Madonna during her Blond Ambition tour in 1990, WWD reports.
The fragrance's rollout took place in two stages: sales were first reserved for the brand's most engaged consumers on the brand's website starting August 9, 2023, with wider availability in France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands from August 16, according to WWD.
The Gaultier Divine range has expanded with several flankers: Divine Le Parfum, Divine Elixir and Divine Couture, according to the press.
Actress Yara Shahidi was chosen as the face of the campaign for Gaultier Divine; Vincent Thilloy, chief brands officer of Paco Rabanne and Jean Paul Gaultier at Puig, emphasized the importance of choosing an ambassador embodying diversity and inclusivity, according to WWD.

A 3D ocean liner, mermaids in corsets
Film directed by François Rousselet: Yara Shahidi and her muses in corsets, mermaids and a 1900s ocean liner recreated in 3D using Unreal Engine.
The advertising film is directed by François Rousselet and presents itself as the epilogue to the Le Male Elixir campaign launched in June 2023: surrounded by mermaids, the ambassador captures the sailor from Le Male Elixir.
Yara Shahidi holds this role, accompanied by Lola Rodriguez, Thando Hopa, Tess McMillan, Janet Jumbo and Ana Elisa Brito. Her involvement went beyond a mere on-screen appearance: she took part in casting decisions and creative aspects of the launch.
The staging plays on a dreamlike world inspired by Rembrandt's style, where sailors and mermaids wear corsets. The ocean liner, inspired by ships of the 1900s, was entirely recreated in 3D and modeled using Unreal Engine, for real-time work on set. The filming location and the date of first broadcast are not documented.
