Nylon Noir

Prada places Nylon Noir within the Olfactories, a limited-distribution collection whose official discourse claims a taste for contrasts and the subversion of perfumery codes. Born in 2015 at the instigation of Miuccia Prada, with Daniela Andrier composing its first chapters, the series was expanded in 2026 with six references announced together: Compulsion, Malombra, Pink Flamboyance, Tainted Violet, Trembled Blossoms and Nylon Noir.

The name refers to the house's founding material, that industrial fabric which Miuccia Prada turned into a sign of luxury. The fragrance draws from it a nylon accord placed at the heart of an eau de parfum described by the house as a musky floral, though the perfumer's name has not been disclosed. The formula is presented as unisex, in keeping with the gender-neutral positioning claimed for the collection as a whole.

Distribution remains narrow: the fragrance appears at a few European retailers under the name Les Olfactories - Nylon Noir, while the house's own websites do not devote a dedicated page to it. The descriptive text circulates in an English version relayed by the specialized press and an equivalent French version among retailers.
