Only the Brave

The house describes a combination of fresh lemon, aromatic rosemary and sensual amber wood. In its list of notes, lemon, mandarin and coriander leaves open the fragrance; labdanum, violet leaves and rosemary form its heart.

The base brings together amber, a leather accord and cedarwood. Osmoz describes a lively opening dominated by lemon, a floral, aromatic and woody heart, and a more oriental trail of amber and leather, carried by styrax and labdanum.

What the reviews say

Kevin of Now Smell This perceived in 2009 a lemon and ozone accord, followed by a very light, talc-like leather. Sweet incense and cedar emerge in turn; the lemon returns, candied, with at moments a hint of clove and cinnamon.

After an hour, all that remains for him is a fresh accord of cedar, amber and musk; after a shower, a scent of vanilla and cedar, reminiscent in his view of benzoin and cedar incense cones.

What is left out

An older list from the house cited violet, styrax and labdanum; other descriptions added benzoin and Virginia cedar. The current list retains neither benzoin nor styrax, and violet gives way to its leaves.
