Only the Brave

The Diesel Only The Brave perfume is from a house whose style could be summed up in three words: casual, rebellious and provocative. Indeed, its founder, Renzo Rosso, has always approached fashion with a bold, avant-garde vision. So when he decided to move into perfumery, he continued along the same path.

A glass sculpture in the shape of a clenched fist, ringed with a silver band engraved Diesel, which has become the signature shape of the collection.

The bottle takes the shape of a clenched fist carved in glass. Fragrantica describes it as a sculpture in smoky gray tones, encircled by a silver ring bearing the inscription Diesel. The brand text relayed by French retailers offers the same reading: the clenched fist is adorned with the house's name, whose shape evokes a ring.

Renzo Rosso states that he created and shaped by hand a small fist-shaped bottle, given to his guests for his fifty-fifth birthday, before it was commercialized with L'Oréal; another trade publication states that the ringed fist was inspired by his own hand.

The glass fist has become the signature shape of the collection, revisited in dark tones for Only The Brave Tattoo in 2012. The house's official catalog lists the 50 ml Eau de Toilette size. At launch, the range included the Eau de Toilette in 30, 50 and 75 ml, complemented by a 100 ml after-shave, a 200 ml scented bath and a 150 ml Deodorant Spray.
