Davidoff's inspiration

Just like its predecessor, Horizon Extreme is a fragrance inspired by the force of nature. Davidoff seems to have captured the tension between earth and sky. This theme has in fact been present within the house for a long time. It first appeared more precisely with the Cool Water fragrances in 1988, which explored the alchemy between man and the ocean. That fragrance told an intense and fiery story, a source of extreme sensations. It was a kind of concentrate of vitality and energy. It is precisely this power of the elements of nature that is found once again in Horizon Extreme. Moreover, the link between these two fragrances is clearly symbolized by the Horizon Extreme bottle, which has the same rectangular shape as its predecessor. However, it has traded its former blue hue for a gradient shifting from copper to brown, giving it an appearance almost like a sunset on the horizon. It is also finished with a resolutely modern chrome cap, which places the Davidoff man halfway between his urban world of today and his authentically natural origins.

The woody, masculine freshness of Horizon Extreme

Like its bottle, the scent of Horizon Extreme is woven from multiple contrasts. It opens with a very fresh blend. Grapefruit releases a touch of bitterness relayed by the sharp, aphrodisiac freshness of ginger. Rosemary, for its part, adds to this burst of more aromatic effects. Then a very woody, more masculine heart gradually settles in, built on cedar and cypriol. Nutmeg then gives more pep to this composition while leather makes the fragrance more sensual and somewhat animalic. All of this rests on the creamy, smooth warmth of sandalwood before ending on a more balsamic amber accord. Horizon Extreme is available in three sizes: 40, 75, or 125 ml.
