Nina sees red! Nina is the name of the most famous heroine created by Nina Ricci. Introduced in 2006, she is a kind of modern-day fairy, enamored with romance. Since its creation, its gourmand and floral character has been reinvented several times, giving rise to Les Belles de Nina.
Nina Ricci adapts the Nina bottle for Nina Rouge. Nina is much more than a simple fragrance. It is a true icon of women's perfumery. Fresh and light, this modern-day heroine seems to have stepped straight out of a fairy tale. Ideal for young women, this fragrance offers the portrait of a lively and cheerful Parisian woman, treading the pavement with an airy step. Today, the disarming freshness of this cult essence is reinvented in a new edition called Nina Rouge. More gourmand than ever, this fragrance also comes with a new bottle. So what has become of the emblematic Nina Ricci apple? This time, it seems that the temptation was too strong—the Nina Ricci woman has bitten into the forbidden fruit!
The apple, an iconic symbol of Nina Ricci
Once again, Nina Ricci wished to present its fragrance in an apple-shaped bottle. It must be said that there is no better symbol in the world than this one to embody temptation... In religion, and more specifically in the Bible, the apple is the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve cannot help but bite into. In mythology, the apple also holds an important place. It is what indirectly triggers the Trojan War. The golden apple was, in Roman antiquity, the representation of the globe and the sun... Regardless of culture or civilization, the apple is an evocative fruit. Here, women could not resist it. Proof of this: its front face has been bitten into!
The new flamboyant color of Nina Rouge
In perfect harmony with its name, Nina Rouge comes in a bottle entirely lacquered in red, both on its base and on its cap. Here again, this color is not the result of chance. It catches the eye and immediately sparks interest. The warmest color of the light spectrum, red is symbolically associated with fire. It raises the temperature a notch and embodies passion and temptation. Moreover, by lacquering a glass apple, the red gives it the look of a candy apple. And this fits perfectly with its gourmand and almost childlike scent. More than ever, Nina Ricci draws us into a fairground and awakens our inner child!
A small ribbon that is far from insignificant
To further emphasize this festive spirit, Nina Ricci also chose to decorate the neck of its bottle with a small red and white striped ribbon. These two colors are also very present at fairgrounds. They evoke barley sugar sticks and immerse us in a somewhat retro atmosphere. On this two-tone ribbon, a small round label proudly displays the discreet initials of the creator: NR for Nina Ricci.
This bottle comes in spray bottles of 30, 50 and 80 ml. The whole is contained in a white cardboard box, on which a red apple is depicted, held by four two-tone ties, echoing its small vintage fabric ribbon.
