La Petite Robe Noire Nectar
Eau de Parfum Nectar: the new La Petite Robe Noire from Guerlain. 2021 has barely begun and Guerlain has already announced the release of its new fragrance: La Petite Robe Noire Nectar. As its name suggests, this is a new variation on the iconic La Petite Robe Noire, which first appeared much earlier, in 2012.

Where to buy
Unlike its predecessors, this one is much more suave, sweet, and gourmand than before. La Petite Robe Noire Nectar possesses a devastating new charm, and no one seems able to resist this limited edition, 100 percent made in Paris. Curious? Then let us make the introductions!
Who is behind La Petite Robe Noire Nectar by Guerlain?
La Petite Robe Noire Nectar owes its existence to the talented perfumer Thierry Wasser, official nose of the house of Guerlain. Here, for this fragrance, he chose to depict the portrait of a modern-day Parisian woman, more joyful and sparkling than ever. Ever optimistic, the woman who wears this fragrance is a true fashionista, striding the Parisian pavement with a cheerful gait. Firmly determined to dive headfirst into 2021, she twirls and seduces with her sparkling, tangy gourmand quality. As always, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar is embodied by the famous silhouette drawn in India ink by the duo Kuntzel & Deygas. For the occasion, it sports a new, more plunging neckline. La Petite Robe Noire Nectar clearly does everything it can to seduce!
La Petite Robe Noire Nectar, a blend of rose and honey
In terms of composition, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar releases a mouthwatering sillage, like a rose deliciously wrapped in honey. Indeed, these two main ingredients occupy the heart of this fragrance. At first, they are enhanced by fresh, luminous top notes of almond and bergamot. In its base, however, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar by Guerlain contains a delicious, woody and creamy tonka bean, paired with patchouli as well as irresistible notes of vanilla. The result is a fragrance that dresses itself in a touch of honey, like a bee gathering nectar from a rose.
Guerlain brings back its iconic bottle
Finally, in terms of the bottle, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar clearly resembles its predecessors. The silhouette of the bottle remains unchanged, and its membership in this great olfactory collection is thus immediately apparent. As a reminder, this is a more modern reinterpretation of the bottles of Guerlain's Mitsouko and L'Heure Bleue, both created at the beginning of the twentieth century. This new shape is the work of designer Serge Mansau, known as one of the most prolific bottle designers of our time. Here, the bottle of La Petite Robe Noire Nectar by Guerlain is topped with a cap shaped like an inverted heart, with shoulders drawing comma shapes. The name La Petite Robe Noire appears in white script on the front, on a gradient that now moves from deep black to a warmer, pale orange.

The advertising
Known for its fruity and floral notes, La Petite Robe Noire ranks among the most beloved fragrances in the world. Created by Thierry Wasser in 2012, this juice reinvents itself every year in new variations of its scent, more or less intense, refreshing, or floral. In 2021, the house of Guerlain thus gave birth to La Petite Robe Noire Nectar, a true concentrate of rose and honey. Gourmand and romantic, this juice is already featured in a brand-new advertisement. Here is a breakdown of its television campaign.
An iconic silhouette in a new advertisement
La Petite Robe Noire Nectar by Guerlain is not embodied by a model or an actress of worldwide fame. Since its launch, Guerlain has made the bold choice to symbolize it on screen with a small, slender silhouette drawn in India ink. This now-famous shape owes its existence to the graphic design duo Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Deygas. Together, they created an icon of femininity, moving through Paris and around the world, embodying a feminine ideal all on its own. Once again, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar dons its highest heels and leads us to rediscover the capital.
Guerlain once again relies on Nancy Sinatra's song
While this advertising campaign's connection to the house of Guerlain is immediately obvious to the eye, it is just as clear to the ear. Indeed, like all the advertisements in the La Petite Robe Noire saga, the latest campaign for La Petite Robe Noire Nectar is built around Nancy Sinatra's song, These Boots are Made for Walkin'. It must be said that this song fits perfectly with the spirit of this fragrance. Particularly cheerful, it inspires a desire to discover Paris alongside La Petite Robe Noire. Incidentally, it should be noted that this song immediately brings to mind the 2012 advertisement for La Petite Robe Noire, which was voted the French public's favorite television commercial at the time.
The new floral campaign for La Petite Robe Noire Nectar
This time, for La Petite Robe Noire Nectar, the atmosphere is more floral than ever. The campaign for this fragrance begins with an illustration of Guerlain's storefront window. At its center proudly stands La Petite Robe Noire Nectar. It is hung with numerous roses, which hands and scissors quickly come to cut. Immediately, La Petite Robe Noire Nectar escapes from the Guerlain store to stride through Paris. It turns the capital into a true playground, even using the Eiffel Tower as a vase to hold its rose. The Trocadéro comes to resemble a rose garden. Petals are absolutely everywhere, eventually bursting into fragments at the end of the advertisement, revealing the new bottle of La Petite Robe Noire Nectar. Guerlain's world becomes all the more romantic and poetic.
